Congratulations to Year 9 student Ameeran A who has been selected as one of the 2025 awardees of the Premier鈥檚 Anzac Spirit School Prize. She submitted a research project about the experience of a South Australian service man or woman who served (Navy, Army, Air Force, Nursing or other service duties) during World War 1 and/or World War 2.
The judging panel selected Ameeran to participate in a study tour to France next year. Her mentor, Global Studies teacher Ms Mitchell, has also been chosen to attend the study tour.
Ameeran was presented with a certificate and medallion by the Minister for Education, Training and Skills at an awards ceremony yesterday.
