From classroom to crisis-ready

In Week 5, 37 of our Year 11 First Aid students successfully completed their training to achieve the HLTAID011 Provide First Aid Certificate. This nationally recognised qualification is valid for 3 years and provides students with essential skills to respond effectively in emergency situations – both at home and within our community.

Earning this certification is an optional component of the Stage 1 First Aid course and it was fantastic to see so many students commit to the additional training. Their dedication is a real credit to both the students and their families for recognising the importance of developing such valuable, life-long skills!

A special shout out to Gary Boam from St. Johns Ambulance SA for coming into REC to educate and certify our students. We look forward to continuing this positive partnership with Gary and St. Johns long into the future!
